The managing director of KalPa Hockey Oy is Kimmo Kapanen, who is responsible for the operative activities jointly with the active board of directors. Among KalPa's shareholders are NHL professionals and influential business figures. Sami Kapanen and Kimmo Timonen own the majority of KalPa shares. Sami Kapanen is also the chairman of KalPa Hockey Oy. Head Coach Tuomas Tuokkola is responsible for sports operations, while scouting is carried out by the team of Tuomas Tuokkola, Sami Kapanen and sports manager Kimmo Kapanen.
