KalPa Hockey

KalPa is a traditional hockey team from Kuopio. After many difficult years KalPa is finally one of the top teams in Finnish National Hockey League. In the last season 2012-2013 KalPa managed to get to the playoffs for the fifth time in a row.  KalPa's Sakari Salminen was voted and awarded for being the best player of the whole SM-league.

The new hockey season 2013-2014 is about to begin and the KalPa team's only goal is to win the SM league. KalPa has got some new players, but the foundation has remained the same. KalPa's head coach in this season is Jari Laukkanen. The bright newcomers Artturi Lehkonen, Kasperi Kapanen and Henri Ikonen will bring freshness to the team but a lot is also expected from our more experienced players.
